Delete a Student's Data

Effective October 30, 2026

SoundQuest has no accounts and keeps no student data on our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete. All data is on the device, and the SLP can delete it there at any time.

Delete one student

  1. Open clinician mode (passcode or Face ID).
  2. Go to Caseload and choose the student.
  3. Optional: Export the student's records first if your school needs to keep them.
  4. Tap Delete student and confirm.

This deletes the student's profile, results, notes and recordings, and destroys the student's encryption key, so the records cannot be recovered, even from a device backup.

Delete everything

Delete the app from the device. This removes all of SoundQuest's data, for every student. PDF reports or exports you shared outside the app stay where you put them.

Parents

To have your child's records deleted, ask your child's SLP, school or clinic. They can do it straight away in the app. If you need help, email support@jcgoodworks.com.
